Sesame Place, a theme park in Pennsylvania, honors a school in the  area of  New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts each year with the Good Neighbor award.Â
Glenville School was selected for the award because of its Go-Getters program, created this school year. Principal Marc D’Amico said the program highlights the best character attributes students should have. Each month, students in all grades were given a different desirable attribute to emulate, such as sharing and cooperating, and were told to discuss it with their families and act it out in their lives. The students who best exemplify the trait are recognized by D’Amico at a ceremony at the end of the month.

Elmo Visits the Doctor is just what it is-Elmo visiting the doctor-and more. Elmo is afraid of doctors and with a little help from his friends on Sesame Street becomes less afraid of the visiting the doctor. When he gets to the doctor’s office,Elmo see Bert, Ernie, Baby Bear and some of his other friends.  By seeing the other Sesame Street friends as patients Elmo loses his fear of visiting the doctor.
There are other scenes where real kids talk about their doctor and doctor equipment will not be left out of this one-they also tell about there doctor’s office experience.

We recently received a comment from a Dad looking for a vintage Big Bird chair. His daughter used the chair when she was a young child and now she is expecting a child of her own. He would like to get the chair for his new grandchild.
i was looking for a plastic big bird chair. I had one for my daughter when she was little - maybe 25 years ago. She was about 2 years old and the chair had big bird in yellow and blue legs - i think.
my daughter is going to have a baby and i would love to find the same chair - do you have any ideas as to how to find this old chair
thanks in advance
Ron

- Kid’s will be able to use a Cookie Monster Drill Press and a Bert and Ernie circular saw to complete all kids of fun imaginary projects
- Elmo will be looking on and encouraging children to have fun while using a hammer or screw driver to fix all kinds of things
- Elmo will also hold several of the tools so that they don’t get lost
- Sesame Street toys for preschoolers
- Age Range 18 Months to 4 Years
Busy toddlers who need to “do it myself” can join the ranks of DIYers with this kid-size tool bench. With a hammer, circular saw, drill, wrench, gears, boards, screws, and screwdriver, the sturdy plastic bench has everything needed to build impressive (imaginary) projects. Elmo oversees the work, holding several of the tools himself, while Cookie Monster, Bert, and Ernie take charge of drilling and sawing. Push down on the saw or tighten some screws and hear the appropriate buzzing and “skreeking” sounds. Beware of the corny jokes (”Hey Ernie, I saw that! Get it? Heh heh heh heh.”) and goofy songs (”I’ve been working on the tool bench”). There is no volume control, and the sound is very loud, but veteran parents know all about the magic of a little well-placed packing tape over speakers. Do-it-yourself parents who would prefer that their children not handle real power drills and circular saws will truly appreciate this tool bench…and will probably spend more time than they care to admit playing with it themselves. The tools are similar enough to the real thing that little builders will probably learn a thing or two, too! Assembly is quick and intuitive. Requires three “AA” batteries (batteries included are for demonstration purposes only).–Emilie Coulter
