Elmo live has been made the rounds on television as it gets ready for its big debut tomorrow. This morning the Elmo Live doll gave Good Morning America a preview of some of its key actions and features. The Elmo Live is not as much under wraps as the T.M.X Elmo when it was released. Customers had to actually wait until it was ready for sale in stores to actually see the T.M.X. Elmo. This time Elmo Live shows the audience all the great moves it can make and how more animated this particular Elmo figure is than its predecessors.

Elmo Live is set to be shipped from online retailer tomorrow and should be available in stores tomorrow. This is one of the great toys of the holiday season. We will have to see how well the Elmo Live will sell during this holiday season because of the money crunch that many families are now facing.

The Sesame Street Experience for Military Families helps Military Families Deal with Deployment

Elmo and his Buddies from Sesame Street are teaming up with the United Service Organization to speak to families about deployment. The Sesame Street Experience
for Military Families will do a tour across the country.

“The Sesame Street Experience
for Military Families brings the Talk, Listen, Connect DVD and materials to life, and it reaches out directly to the families who face the challenges of military life each day,” said Gary E. Knell, President and CEO, Sesame Workshop. ”Our partnership with the USO further extends this initiative. We’re visiting installations across the nation to help these families bond through emotionally difficult times, by providing an educational and entertaining show and outreach activities they can share.”

Elmo and his friends are going to be spending time at a European-themed Sesame Street village that opens in spring of next year.

This new European-themed Sesame Street village will feature wet and dry play areas with net-and-rope climbs, retail and food outlets, including character dining, a 4-D movie, several stage performances by some of Sesame Street’s most beloved characters, and a “1, 2, 3 Smile With Me” photo studio so families can capture memorable moments of their children interacting with Sesame Street’s characters.

Elmo Live is more life-like than any other Elmo toys to date. People are extremely infatuated with Elmo and many of the toys that have been made in his likeness. You will see cameos from the past featuring popular entertainers of the day. There will episodes of the Sesame Street friends riding the subway. Some of those that watched the original Sesame Street shows may actually have young grandchildren of their own. These DVDs are more for adults to look back and remember moments from the past.
