Elmo This Christmas

Once again Elmo has captivated the minds of countless children and parents. What would Christmas be without Elmo is what I would like to know? There are so many Elmo products available it is hard for any parent or child to choose. But we do, we have to.

There are Elmo Stockings
Elmo couches
Elmo Shirts
Elmo Dolls

Well, the list can do on and on. And it does. I do have 0ne big question? Where are all the Tickle Me Elmos? What has happened to all the Tickle Me Elmos? Are they all for sale on ebay?

Oh.., all the possible stories that can be told about how a parent was able to obtain Tickle me Elmo for their children. I do hope they are all legal. Well, if they are not, just ommit the parts that may lead to a felony conviction.

Yes, I kid because I care. I love Elmo too. But, lets just all enjoy this Christmas and the memories of Christmas past. It’s about the love and warm memories.

Elmo has a whole page dedicated to him on Wikipedia, a free online encyclopedia. At the writing of this post there appears to be some question on the neutrality of the article. So much controversy about one little furry moster.

“Sunny Days” ringing in my purse

Well, welcome to 2005. Now you can have ringtones of Sesame Street music. Ringtones are not the only things available for purchase. There is also Sesame Street wall paper, number of the day and letter of the day. The money earned from the sales goes to support the Children’s Television workshop.

Elmo for Everyone

I came across a great news story about some individuals who have modified toys for use by handicapped children. The toys included several Elmo dolls. As most parents know, some Elmo toys are activiated by pressing a small button on the doll’s little body. For someone with limited physical movement this can be very difficult. Volunteers at Northern Dutchess Hospital have worked for the past 5 years to make it possible for several children to play with their little furry friend along with other toys.

My Kids love elmo

My girls have always loved Elmo. We have had Elmo birtday parties with Elmo birthday cakes, Elmo table coths, elmo napkins, Elmo presents, and Elmo party favors. There are Elmo toys all over the house and Elmo videos in the entertainment center. Yes, my girls love Elmo. Did I understand the obsession with Elmo before I became a parent? NO. Do I fully understand it now? Well….what can I say. It keeps them happy. Then it keeps me happy.

Elmo Knows Your Name

When Fisher-Price introduce Tickle Me Elmo in 1996 parents and kids went crazy. For this Christmas season Fisher-Price has given us Elmo Knows Your Name. Elmo can be programmed to say your childs name. To a child that might appear to be magic.
