Prairie Dawn has been a fixture on Sesame Street from its early years. Along with appearing on the Sesame Street program that airs on local PBS stations, Prairie Dawn also appears with fellow Muppets on PBS Sprout’s Play with Me Sesame.

In her earlier years on Sesame Street Prairie Dawn made regular appearance on Sesame Street.  We frequently saw her playing her piano in plays and musicals that were performed for friends all along Sesame Street.   Other times we have seen Prairie Dawn in several scenes with other Muppets, including Cookie Monster.

Prairie Dawn may not be as popular as some of the other characters on Sesame Street, but she still has many fans that enjoy seeing her on Sesame Street.
